Position Background

The Journalism Department trains learners in professional writing, broadcasting, ethical reporting, and multimedia communication. The lecturer will guide students in both theory and practical newsroom activities.

Position: Lecturer/Instructor – Journalism Department

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Journalism and Mass Communication courses.
• Prepare lecture notes, assignments, and practical lessons.
• Supervise student media projects and research.
• Participate in curriculum development.
• Support academic and departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate student records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication.
• Prior teaching or media experience is an added advantage.

Key Skills

• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of reporting, editing, photography, and broadcasting.
• Computer literacy and multimedia skills.
